Paramus 'Family' Recognized During Evening of Celebration

The Mayor and Council honored two residents for their accomplishments as well as officially swearing in the new borough clerk

Nearly 400 Paramus residents have directed petition letters to the borough council in opposition of a possible sale of church property on Spring Valley Road to a Hindu temple but officials say the situation is not in the borough’s hands at this place in time.

A Paterson woman was arrested on assault and robbery charges after a scuffle with mall security officers, in which she allegedly bit a guard who was trying to restrain her at Garden State Plaza, according to Paramus Police.

Earlier this week organizers of the Sean Cullen Benefit Pasta Dinner announced that tickets to the fundraising event have sold out. Cullen, 26, is currently battling Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma (a cancer originating from white blood cells) and the fundraising dinner and tricky tray was organized by his fellow "brothers" from the Paramus DPW.
