PARSIPPANY, N.J. – After months and months of training and learning, it's now time for the new recruits to put their knowledge into action and protect and serve the community of Parsippany-Troy Hills Township.The 86th Basic Police Training Class of Morris County graduated recently, and included six new officers who are joining the Parsippany Police Department.They include Scott Baker; Denis DeMuro II; Schussler Ferguson, Jr.; Christopher Konysz; Ryan Taylor; and Wandely Torres-Czaka.Mayor James Barberio, Police Chief Paul Philipps, and former Sgt. and current councilman Paul Carifi, Jr. attended the ceremony to congratulate the new officers.Pictured: The six new officers with Philipps, Carifi, and Barberio.
