83 Seatbelt, 6 DWI, 15 Cell Phone Tickets: 'Click It' Campaign Totals In Parsippany

Two-week initiative added 100 patrol hours to township's roadways.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Parsippany police made the most of their two-week stepped up enforcement for the Click It Or Ticket campaign, distributing a total of 409 tickets between late May and early June.

Parsippany, like nearly 200 other agencies in New Jersey, received a $5,000 grant to add 100 patrol hours to the roadways for the seatbelt violator crackdown as part of a national program.
