Car Crash, Overturned Truck, Downed Tree Snarling Traffic On Morris Highways Tuesday

Three unrelated incidents on Routes 80, 280, and 287 have lanes blocked, delays mounting.

Three unrelated incidents are slowing traffic on two of Morris County’s most heavily traveled roadways Tuesday morning and early afternoon, causing lane closures and delays.

Traffic website 511nj.org was reporting just before noon that a car accident on Route 80 eastbound just west of exit 25 (Mt. Olive Township) had one lane blocked and was causing a 10 to 15 minute delay.

Further east, on Route 280 westbound, the ramp to exit 1W in Parsippany was closed due to an overturned dump truck, which occurred at 11:30 a.m.
