Graduation Results For Parsippany's High Schools Announced
Parsippany's schools superintendent announced the township's graduation numbers on Thursday
PARSIPPANY, NJ—Schools Superintendent Barbara Sargent reported the 2020 graduation rates for Parsippany High School and Parsippany Hills High School at Thursday's board of education meeting.
According to Sargent, Parsippany High School (PHS) graduated 230 students last June. Parsippany Hills High School (PHHS) graduated 272 students.
"The number of graduates who met the graduation assessment requirements by passing a competency test was Parsippany High School had 49, Parsippany Hills had 86 students."

Two students at PHS and four at PHHS met the assessment by meeting alternate requirement through an IEP, Sargent added. The superintendent said 17 students at PHS and 10 at PHHS met graduation requirements via a governor's waiver.
"We are had no students at either high school who were denied graduation," Sargent said.
