Employee Restrained as Parsippany Business Robbed

Two men held an employee’s head down while they robbed her and a Parsippany business on Monday evening, Parsippany Police said.

The woman, an employee of the Shivam Travel Agency at 1220 Route 46, came into Parsippany Police Headquarters Tuesday morning around 9:30 a.m. to report the robbery, police said.

She told police that around 5:30 p.m. Monday she was alone in the office when two men came in and one of them “held her head down while the other male removed cash from a desk drawer and took a wallet out of the victim’s purse,” according to a release from Officer Earl Kinsey.

The men then fled with about $500 and the woman was not injured, according to the release.
