St. Patrick’s Day Dinner And Dance Returns To Parsippany
The St. Patrick's Day event is planned for Mar. 18 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the American Legion NJ Post 249 bar.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — It's that time of year again and the annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance event, which is hosted by American Legion Parsippany Post 249, is just around the corner.
The beloved community event is currently planned for Saturday, Mar. 18, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the veterans' organization, located at 91 N Beverwyck Road, in Lake Hiawatha.
In keeping with tradition, the dinner will feature traditional Irish fare such as corned beef with all the trimmings, as well as vegetables, rye, and Irish soda bread, all served buffet style.

Dessert and coffee will also be included after the main dinner, officials said.
The American Legion NJ Post 249 bar is now selling tickets for the dinner and dance, which cost a $25 per person donation. They will also be having a 50/50 cash raffle that night, with tickets for the raffle going on sale soon, also at the bar.

Following the dinner, there will be live DJ entertainment for all attendees to enjoy.
The American Legion Parsippany Post 249 is both a veterans' organization and an active member of the community. They offer a variety of services, programs, and awards throughout the township, including funding the purchase of over $1,000 worth of toys for the Marine Corps League's annual Toys For Tots program.
The organization was founded in 1935 and has since expanded significantly to include more than 160 members.
