Brick Man Has Egg on His Face After Allegedly Egging Point Boro Police Car

A Brick man was charged with interference with transportation, careless driving, and throwing objects from a motor vehicle after allegedly egging an occupied police car, police said on Thursday.
Paul J. Nickerson, 19, was charged by Lt. Todd Springsteen late Wednesday night, police said.
"At approx 11:52 p.m., Lt. Todd Springsteen was on patrol in a marked police vehicle," police said. "His vehicle was struck by an egg while he was driving on Route 88.

"The egg was thrown from a passing vehicle," police said. "Lt Springsteen was able to stop the vehicle which contained three occupants. The driver, Paul J. Nickerson age 19 of Brick, was charged."
Nickerson was released on a complaint summons. Officer Kevin Aurin assisted Springsteen with the call.
