Former Point Beach Little League Prez To Be Sentenced Tuesday For Theft

Vincent Cicalese used League's ATM card to gradually withdraw $10,000 cash

The former president of the Point Pleasant Beach Little League is due in court on Tuesday to be sentenced for stealing $10,000 by using the League's ATM card last year, according to app.com

Vincent Cicalese, 58, was arrested in July 2016 at his home for the thefts by Ocean County Prosecutor's Office's Economic Crimes Unit and borough police.

The thefts took place in a series of withdrawals, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said.

Cicalese pleaded guilty in December to third degree theft, which carries a potential five-year prison term. He is scheduled to be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday before Ocean County Superior Court Judge Linda Baxter at the Ocean County Courthouse in Toms River.
