Man Stabbed During Road Rage Fight At Point Pleasant Bank: Police
The Brick man did not suffer serious injuries, police said. A Point Pleasant Beach man is charged with aggravated assault, police said.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A Brick Township man was stabbed and a Point Pleasant Beach man arrested after a road rage argument in a bank parking lot turned violent in early November, Point Pleasant police said Thursday.
Nicholas Ippolito, 32, of Point Pleasant Beach, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the attack that happened Nov. 3, Point Pleasant Capt. Christopher Leonhardt said.
Ippolito is accused of stabbing the 60-year-old Brick man in the bicep during the confrontation, which happened about 11:15 a.m. in the parking lot at the TD Bank on Bridge Avenue, Leonhardt said.

The Brick man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a nearby hospital, Leonhardt said.
Information on what prompted the argument was not immediately available but police described it as a road rage incident.

Ippolito was arrested at his home on Nov. 6 and taken to the Ocean County Jail but later released under New Jersey bail reform guidelines, Leonhardt said.
"We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the community during this incident and want to assure residents that the safety and security of our town remain our top priority," he said.
