Drones Set To Fly In Point Pleasant Beach, Police Say

The police department will have officers training to fly drones for use in law enforcement activities.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Police Department will have officers training on drone piloting on Wednesday, the police department said Monday.

"You will start seeing our drone more and more as it is utilized for search techniques, accident reconstruction, general photography, training, and other law enforcement matters," the police department said.

Wednesday's training session will be in the area of the G. Harold Antrim Elementary School fields and will be happening all day, the police department said.
