Couple Found Unconscious, Covered In Vomit And Excrement
Christina Imperato, 25, of Washington Township, was free on bail after having been charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in death.

An unusual call of a car idling in a Maple Avenue front yard turned even stranger for Glen Rock officers early Thursday when they discovered the two occupants of the auto unconscious and drenched in vomit, urine and feces, police said.
Christina Imperato, 25, of Washington Township, was charged with drunk driving in a school zone, careless driving, refusal to submit to a breath test and failure to wear a seat belt, Capt. Jonathan Miller said.
"It does not appear she lost control," Miller said. "It appears she thought she was pulling into a driveway."

Imperato is out on bail for her alleged role in the death of a 31-year-old Guatemalan immigrant in Passaic. Authorities say the man had been robbed, beaten and left on the roadside in Passaic when a vehicle in which Imperato was a passenger ran him over and fled the scene, Passaic County prosecutors allege. The alleged driver, 32-year-old Julius Lacewell, was also charged and had been out on bail.
Glen Rock Police said Lacewell was the passenger in Thursday morning's incident. Though no charges were filed against Lacewell, he was transported to Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus because of his level of intoxication, Miller said.

"He actually became combative in the back of the ambulance and had to be restrained," Miller said.
Imperato was picked up by her father from the police station and faces an upcoming date in municipal court.
Miller said the Passaic Prosecutor's Office is aware of the Glen Rock incident. "They're going to be doing any appropriate followup that they need to be doing," he said.
