Even without home field advantage, two teams didn't have much trouble this weekend. Because of damage done to village fields, football and girls soccer played at home in Hackensack this weekend.
The boys football team destroyed Bergen Tech, taking them down 53-0, according to the box score posted on nj.com.
The girls soccer team similarly roughed up Hackensack HS, scoring 6 goals while yielding only one on Saturday. Darby Kiernan and Kelly McBrearty each had two goals, nj.com reported.

The Lady Maroon volleyball gals, minus Miami recruit Blair Fuentes, lost to Hackensack 2-1 on Friday as they rebuild.
On Thursday, the girls tennis team lost to Ramapo HS 3-2. Only Carolina Errico won a match for the Ridgewood team, defeating Linda Lee 6-2, 6-2.
