Ridgewood Coffee Company Having Grand Opening on Thursday, Friday

Free food, drink, music and art on display for the two-day extravaganza

It's been open for just about two weeks, but the Ridgewood Coffee Company will be showing off with a special two-day grand opening on Thursday and Friday.

"On Thursday and Friday we’ll be having free appetizers, free select menu drinks and some free dessert specials,” said Sara Paleewong, co-owner of the remodeled coffee shop. Those aren't the only deals though. Should someone order off the regular menu–like a specialty latte–their purchase would be 50 percent off, Paleewong said.

Both grand opening get-togethers will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Some of the appetizers will be brought in from Ridge Thai, a local favorite. "The Cupcake Lady" of Simply Homemade will also be there with her baked goods.

Lindsy Davis–whose late father Mike once ran the shop years ago–will be showing off her artwork, which is for sale. Davis will be on hand to answer any artsy questions on Thursday.
