Village Remembers 9/11 A Decade Later
Ceremonies begin in the early afternoon and last through the evening

The village will be spending Sunday honoring the twelve citizens it lost ten years ago today with a presentation modeled after the original remembrance.
Lynn Needle, of Art of Motion Dance Studio, will first present a film documenting her dance tribute to 9/11, titled "Off Balance." The video presentation, which will feature Needle, other dancers from AoM and firefighters involved in the project, will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Ridgewood Public Library and end at 3:30 p.m. The program was first unveiled in 2002 at Bergen Community College.
Then, at 4:00 p.m. the "Requiem" interfaith service will begin at West Side Presbyterian Church. Gabriel Faure's piece will be played by various Ridgewood musical groups, including Dr. Robert Prowse, a baritone soloist.
