Wednesday: Parents Go Back to School

1) Parents must be out of their summer lulls by now. It's time to find out what's going on with your kid's education, up close and (sort of) personal. It's back-to-school night at B.F. Middle School. It starts at 7:30 p.m.

2) The Village council will be meeting for its monthly public meeting at 8:00 p.m. on the fourth floor of Village Hall. Check out our preview of what's to come here.

3) The Hawes bond referendum ceremony ribbon cutting will be at 7:00 p.m. at, you guessed it, Hawes Elementary School. We expect to see the BOE, teachers, parents, administration, Dr. Semendinger and maybe even a few ducks there!

4) As of 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, there were 254 views of the district's USTREAM site. The streamed recording of the first council H-Zone hearing so far only has 24 views. There were probably about 115 people in the audience Tuesday, smaller than expected. Are people fatigued?
