Witnesses: Woman Struck Parked Car in RW, Fled Scene
Incident happened on E. Ridgewood Ave. around 6:30 p.m.

A woman struck a parked car on East Ridgewood Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and fled the scene, according to witnesses.
Joshua Castaño said a silver/gold SUV driven by a female in her 20s was heading west on E. Ridgewood Ave. when she struck a parked car in front of .
After striking the vehicle, "she put her hands on her face, pulled it in reverse and drove away," the witness said.

Castaño, who was joined by two other witnesses, said the driver appeared to be texting on her cell phone when she struck the back end of the gold minivan, leaving a few large dents. She fled toward the train station, he added.
Ridgewood police are investigating the accident.
