7-Year-Old Union County Girl 'Impaled' by Tree Branch: Report

A 7-year-old Union County girl was impaled by an 8-inch tree branch while doing back flips on the side of her home on Saturday night.

A 7-year-old Linden girl was impaled by an 8-inch tree branch while doing back flips on the side of her Berlant Avenue home on Saturday night, police say.

The girl was pierced in the “abdominal area,” but was conscious and alert when police arrived to the home, according to nj.com.

Paramedics treated the girl at the scene before the Linden Fire Department transported her by ambulance to JFK Medical Centerin Edison for further treatment.

My Central Jersey says as of Sunday morning, Linden police did not have additional information on the girl’s condition.
