Nov. 9

  • A resident on Gaycroft Drive reported that someone opened several credit accounts in their name. The case is investigation.

  • A resident on Sleepy Hollow Lane reported damage to their mailbox. The case is under investigation.

Nov. 12

  • A resident on Duncan Drive reported a motor vehicle burglary. A black male wearing a blood hoodie and black pants entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle at 3:08 a.m. and run away after a few seconds. The case is under investigation.
  • A resident on Mountain Avenue reported that someone opened a credit account in their name. The case is under investigation.

Nov. 13

  • Jose L. Torres Jr., 37, of Plainfield, NJ was arrested for driving under the influence during a single car motor vehicle accident investigation conducted by Ptlm. Javier Maldonado. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Raritan Road at 1:16 a.m. and found a 2019 Jeep Cherokee with heavy front end damage in the roadway. The vehicle had struck a utility pole. No injuries reported. Transported to headquarters and processed.
  • Jason E. Harden, 33, of Roselle, NJ was arrested for driving under the influence and resisting arrest. Ptlm. Mike Baltazar and other officers were working the scene of a motor vehicle accident when a 2019 Jeep Cherokee drove thru the scene and almost struck one of the emergency workers. Ptlm. Baltazar ordered the vehicle to pull over and during that investigation placed Mr. Harden arrest. Transported to headquarters and processed.
  • A resident on Pheasant Lane reported that money was fraudulently wired out of a bank account. The case is under investigation.

Nov. 15

  • Juan T. Pena Age. 27 of 402 E. Fourth St. Plainfield NJ was arrested for driving under the influence during a motor vehicle stop conducted by Ptlm. Luis Pereira. Officers found Mr. Pena asleep behind the wheel of a 1999 Dodge Ram van in the lane of travel on Raritan Rd. Transported to headquarters and processed.
