$1 Million Jersey Cash 5 Ticket Sold in Union County

A $1 million Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold in Union County, matching all five numbers drawn on Wednesday, April 22. The ticket was purchased at St. Georges Family Pharmacy, located at 332 W. St. Georges Ave. in Linden, and won the $1,388,855 jackpot.

The winning numbers were: 01, 16, 23, 28 and 43.

“We are pleased that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at St. Georges Family Pharmacy,” Executive Director Carole Hedinger said. “For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

In addition to the $1 million jackpot winner, 9,221 other players won $275, 904 in cash prizes in Wednesday’s drawing. In total, 226 players won cash prizes of $584 each for correctly picking four numbers and 8,995 players won $16 each for correctly picking three numbers.
