14-Year-Old Summit Runner Launches GoFundMe For Community Hope
Brady O'Shea will run his second 4x4x48 in March and is raising money for a charity that seeks to help homeless veterans and their families.
SUMMIT, NJ — 14-year-old Brady O'Shea from Summit will run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48-hours to raise money for charity. Not only is that a mouthful, but it's quite the feat.
O'Shea will join thousands of people worldwide to run the David Goggins 4x4x48 challenge starting on March 4. As part of the challenge, O'Shea created a GoFundMe to raise money for Community Hope, Inc. — a charity based in Parsippany to help rescue over 6,000 veterans and their families from homelessness.
O'Shea completed his first 4x4x48 challenge in 2021 and raised nearly $7,000 for the Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown. His goal this year is to raise $2,500 for Community Hope.
