A traveling youth baseball team from Summit recently placed second in the Ridge Memorial Day Tournament, winning three games Monday before eventually falling in the championship game to a team from Hillsborough. The Summit U-11 Spring Travel Baseball Team boasts an 8-0 regular season record and fell in its first game Sunday before bouncing back with three consecutive wins on Memorial Day. The team is coached by Matt Demm and Marc Rind.
