The first attempt happened around 4:15 p.m. when the suspects driving a black Honda sedan with tinted windows tried to enter a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 2018 BMW X5 on Colony Drive. Both attempts failed because the cars were locked.
Then, at around 11:55 p.m., a resident on Wallace Road saw a light-colored sedan without headlights park across the street from their property. A man wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt got out of the sedan and failed to enter the two locked cars in the driveway.
