Beacon Road Improvement Project In Summit Begins Wednesday
Residents should expert partial road closures as work begins this week.
SUMMIT, NJ — The City of Summit Department of Community Services is beginning work Wednesday on the Beacon Road Improvement Project.
This will include repairs to curbs and sewers, as well as upgrades to drainage structures before the street is paved in December, weather permitting.
Project work will be performed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the city.

Summit Police will be onsite to direct traffic. Partial road closures will be in effect during project work, and Beacon Road will be closed during milling and paving operations.
