We the undersigned citizens of Union County respectfully request that a solution regarding the loss of music room, art room and computer room for the Franklin School be implemented prior to the start of the next scheduled academic school year- i.e., September 2012. We respectfully submit that art/music/computers on-a-cart is not an effective solution to the overcrowding issue.
We agree that a solution to the loss of the above-referenced classrooms in Franklin School will provide an equitable standard for all Summit public elementary schools that is a cornerstone of the Summit Board of Education.
And each for himself/herself says: I have personally signed this petition: I am a registered voter of the state of New Jersey and Union County; my registered voting address and the name of the city, town or village in which I live are correctly written after my name.
