• Summit to Launch New Summer 2026 Travel Camp for Students in Grades 6–9 (tapinto.net) — Families of Summit middle schoolers can start planning now for a new six-week summer 2026 travel camp run by the city’s Department of Community Programs, with drop-off and pickup at Memorial Field. Registration for the $2,500 full program opens January 3, with weekly options available January 5 if space remains, and no refunds after May 1.
   

• Basketball Game Preview: Summit Hilltoppers vs. Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (maxpreps.com) — Summit High’s Hilltoppers will try to turn their season around at home Saturday at 1 p.m. against Scotch Plains-Fanwood, a team that has recently had their number. Coming off a loss to Millburn and last year’s lopsided defeat to the Raiders, Summit enters at 1–3 looking for a statement win.
