Summit's Brady O'Shea Completes 4x4x48 Run, City Celebrates
As O'Shea completed his final 4 miles, Summit Police and residents congratulated him with sirens and cheers (SEE PHOTOS, VIDEOS).
SUMMIT, NJ — For the second time, 14-year Summit runner Brady O'Shea has completed the 4x4x48 — that's 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48-hours straight.
The Summit community celebrated O'Shea's successful run with cheers and police sirens as he ran his final laps through the City Sunday night. Not only did O'Shea complete the David Goggins running challenge, but he also exceeded his GoFundMe goal to raise money for Community Hope — a Parsippany-based charity to help rescue over 6,000 veterans and their families from homelessness.
O'Shea started the challenge on March 4, at 11 p.m., and continued through Sunday. He was seen running his final 4 miles through the City Sunday night carrying an American flag as Summit residents cheered for him.
