The Promenade Park to Host May Benefit Concert

There will be a silent auction and performances May 11, at The Promenade Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Volunteers of the “Great American Parks Initiative” announce the kick-off event to raise funds to rejuvenate, revitalize and renew Summit’s cherished parks:

  • The Village Green
  • The Promenade Park
  •  Bank Street Park

On Friday, May 11, there will be a silent auction and performances at The Promenade Park from 5 pm to 9 pm. Featured performers will be Amp’d, the Judith G. Wharton Music Center, the New Jersey Youth Symphony, The Argentine Tango Dancers, Caroline Zokalski and Diego Di Falco.

Moms, dads and kids from Summit will also be performing. It will be fun for the entire family. Admission to this event is free and open to the public. All are invited to enjoy this festival and be inspired to donate funds so that Summit’s parks can be enhanced for generations to come.
