Annual Outdoor 'Night Market' In Bergen County Features Live Music, Shopping, Kids' Games

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — An award-winning annual outdoor market will return to downtown Englewood on Wednesday evening.

For the fifth year, the Englewood Night Market will transform East Palisade Avenue into what organizers call "the ultimate summer block party...this beloved event brings together the smorgasbord we all want in Jersey!"

The event includes 90 food options such as Wandering Que (kosher), Lulu’s Englewood, and Thaiway, as well as longtime, local favorites including Hummus Elite, Blue Akai, MK Valencia Restaurant and Lounge, CZEN and Taste of Jamaica. Food trucks will rol in as well, including 1950s Originals, Cupcake Carriage, and Clyde's Ice Cream. There's even a Groomington Eats Dog Food Truck.

The music line-up covers two city blocks with a live DJ on each end and live bands all sponsored by T.H. Experiences. The band Side Hustle plays rock covers beginning at 7:30 p.m.,and DJ Ariel from Mexcal and Soulsa (Latin-soul) and DJALX, will also preform.

Starting at 5 p.m., ENC Fine Arts will perform highlights from their Little Mermaid summer show and the School of Rock Cresskill band will play
songs for all generations, organizers said.

There's also family fun such as carnival games from Drown the Clow, face painting, and more.

Local nonprofits such as the Women’s Rights Information Center and YWCA NJ will also be on-site.

Attendees can snap a photo at the 360° photo booth, sponsored by Allesig Printing New Jersey Family and T.H. Experiences.

The rain date for the event is Thursday.

The event was voted by Best of Bergen as the Best Special Town Event in 2024.

The event was created by T.H. Experiences and sponsored by Town Motors—home to Porsche Englewood, Subaru of Englewood, and Audi Englewood—along with New Jersey Family, ONNJ, MK Valencia and the City of Englewood.
