Columbia Bank Expands Into Eastern Bergen Co., Pledges To Donate To Township Nonprofits
Columbia Bank is opening a full-service banking location on Cedar Lane and is donating $10 to a local nonprofit for every account opened.

TEANECK, NJ — Columbia Bank is expanding into eastern Bergen County by opening of its newest branch in Teaneck.
Marketed as "New Jersey's Trusted Bank," the institution is opening a new location at 560 Cedar Lane, and will celebrate the opening at 10 a.m. Friday, along with top executives and township officials, including CEO Thomas Kemly and Mayor James Dunleavy.
The location will offer full-service banking, including drive-up amenities and private conference areas; and feature a video message screen, digital rate display and a "Smart ATM" with more advanced functionality.

For each new checking or savings account opened at the location, Columbia will donate $10 to one of the following Teaneck nonprofits of the customer's choice:
- Helping Hands Food Pantry of Teaneck
- Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey Never Alone Again
- One Family Fund
- Sharsheret Inc.
- The Bright Side Family Senior Housing and Supportive Care
On March 31, Columbia will tally the donations and contribute $2,500 to the charity that receives the most donations, $1,000 to the charity with the second-most donations, and $500 to all remaining charities.
