Bergen County's sixth Chick-fil-A opens Tuesday, March 1 in Hackensack. This latest location is hiring 130 full- and part-time employees.

HACKENSACK, NJ — Bergen County's sixth Chick-fil-A opens for business Tuesday, March 1 in Hackensack.

This latest location is hiring 130 full- and part-time employees, the company said in a news release.

The lot at 41 Route 4 West has previously been a Hooters, a Ground Round, and Firewaters Saloon, as NorthJersey.com reported earlier this year.

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dining room, and 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for drive-through, every day except Sunday.

Dennis Williams, who operates Chick-fil-A Englewood, will also own and operate the Hackensack location, the company said. Williams has been with the Englewood store since 2015 and "gives back to the community by donating to children’s summer camp programs, food pantries and organizations that support youth in the area," according to a news release.

“Being a Chick-fil-A Operator allows for the unique opportunity to truly engrain yourself within the community that you serve,” Williams said in the news release. “I am passionate about developing caring leaders with a strong work ethic to be a bright light in our community.”
