Pascrell represents parts of Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties. He has been the NJ-9 representative since 2013, and represented the 8th district from 1997-2013 before district boundaries were redrawn based on 2010 Census data.
Monday was the deadline to submit candidacy petitions for the June 8 primary elections for Republicans and Democrats. According to unofficial candidate lists from the state Division of Elections, Prempeh is the only person who filed to run against Pascrell.
