Ocean County Courthouse Resumes Work After Threat Evacuation: Sheriff

A search of the courthouse found no evidence to substantiate a threat, the sheriff said.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County Courthouse personnel have returned to the building following a threat Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy said staff had returned to the building after the premises were searched with the sheriff's department's bomb-detection K-9s and nothing was found.

The threat was called in to a state telephone number, Mastronardy said. Details of the threat were not available.
