$50K Powerball Ticket Sold In Passaic County, NJ Lottery Says

The jackpot is at an estimated $461 million for Monday's drawing.

CLIFTON, NJ — As the Powerball jackpot rises to $461 million for Monday's drawing, the New Jersey Lottery says multiple New Jersey players cashed in on smaller prizes over the weekend.

That includes one winner who purchased their ticket at Quick Stop on Clifton Avenue in Clifton, lottery records show. This player and three others around the state took home a third-place $50,000 prize by matching four numbers, plus the Powerball.

Saturday's winning numbers were 6, 7, 25, 46 and 57 with a Powerball number of 12. The Power Play was 3X.

One other New Jersey winner selected the Power Play, increasing their third-place prize to $150,000, according to a news release from the NJ Lottery.

New Jersey players must buy their Powerball tickets by 9:59 p.m. to be eligible for Monday’s drawing at 10:59 Eastern. Drawings are held at the same time on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are steep — about 1 in 292.2 million. For perspective, the odds of being struck by lightning are less than 1 in 1 million.
