Craft Beer Festival To Be Held At Westfield Armory This Weekend

Local breweries from all over will be serving craft beers and cider samples at the Westfield Hops festival this weekend.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A craft beer experience is "pouring into town" at Westfield Armory this weekend.

Over 100 styles of craft beer and cider samples will be served at the Westfield Hops festival on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Festival-goers can also enjoy music from Mr. Love Joy, as well as food vendors, games and merchandise at the event.

According to the event's Facebook page, Angry Archie's, The Bearded One BBQ and Taxi Cab Burger, LLC will be serving burgers, fries and more at the festival.

Since this is a beer festival, attendees must be 21 years of age to be allowed entrance. Designated drivers must also be at least 21m, and attendees must show photo ID to be admitted.

No children, toddlers, infants or strollers are allowed, according to the website.

Designated drivers must buy a special designated driver ticket for $15. These attendees will received a different colored wristband and will not receive a tasting glass.

The designated drivers are still able to enjoy all the activities at the expo, except they are not allowed to drink any beer. Any designated driver who is seen drinking will be escorted out immediately, according to the festival's website.
