Pedestrian Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train In Union County
There were no injuries reported to the 40 customers or the crew on board, an NJ Transit spokesperson told Patch.

ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A pedestrian was fatally struck by a NJ Transit train Sunday morning in Union County, officials said.
Raritan Valley Line train 5515, which departed Newark Penn Station at 9:38 a.m., struck the pedestrian at around 9:50 a.m., just east of Roselle Park station in the vicinity of Galloping Hill Road, a spokesperson for NJ Transit told Patch.
There were no injuries reported to the 40 customers or the crew on board, the spokesperson said.

Raritan Valley Line service was temporarily suspended in both directions between Cranford and Newark but has since resumed.
