ICYMI: Multiple Cars Broken into in Westfield

At least six car burglaries were reported to the Westfield Police Department last week. Five occurring on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

In each of the incidents reported, the burglarized vehicle was left unlocked, according to TAP into Westfield.

The Westfield Leader reports the burglaries were reported in the following areas of Westfield:

Sept. 9

• 200 block of Hyslip Avenue - value of items stolen: $2,350
• 400 block of North Scotch Plains Avenue - value of items stolen: $407
• 600 block of Roosevelt Street - value of items stolen: $150
• 600 block of Roosevelt Street (second report) - value of items stolen: $150
• 600 block of Hort Street - value of items stolen: $450

Sept. 11

• Codding Road - value of items stolen: $2
