This Restaurant Coming To Westfield Sure Has Some Chutzpah
Chutzpah Kitchen, a Middle Eastern street food restaurant, is coming to Downtown Westfield in late spring of 2022.
WESTFIELD, NJ — This Israeli restaurant, based in Maplewood, is known for serving classic Middle Eastern dishes — from homemade ShakShuka to hummus and pita platters — with a side of "chutzpah."
Downtown Westfield recently announced on its Facebook page that Chutzpah Kitchen will be coming to Westfield in late spring of 2022.
The restaurant originates in Maplewood but is now expanding to Westfield.

The concept for Chutzpah Kitchen was conceived by Sagi Ohayon who was born and raised in Israel but now calls Maplewood home. He intends to "bring the flavors and boldness of an Israeli shuk (market) ... with an elevated, fast-casual experience, optimized for takeout and delivery," according to the restaurant's website.
Menu items include dishes such as chicken shawarma, falafel, chicken schnitzel, ShakShuka with pita, baba ganoush, a variety of hummus bowls and much more.

Currently, the Maplewood location at 175 Maplewood Ave. is open for takeout and delivery.
