Westfield Teachers Participate in Summer Technology Training

Teachers in the Westfield Public Schools attended classroom workshops July 29 - 30 to hone their technology skills.

Taught by Master Technology Teacher, Jeanine Gottko (standing), participants learned how to add new and more dynamic content to their website pages to increase student engagement and to improve communication between school and home.

Other workshops introduced teachers to instructional Apps and subscription services provided by the school district to enhance instruction.

In addition to these sessions, which received positive feedback from the participants, teachers in the Westfield Public Schools will be offered technology tips prior to the start of school during the district’s New Staff Institute the end of August and in the Staff In-Service on September 3.
