CVS Hearing, Shared Court Study, School Board Meetings This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
The Pascack Valley Regional Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Pascack Valley High School auditorium.
The Westwood Council is scheduled to vote on a resolution awarding a contract for a study on shared municipal courts this week. Westwood, Hillsdale and River Vale will be participating in the study. The Westwood Council meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the borough municipal building. The full agenda is available here.
The Washington Township Zoning Board is scheduled to continue hearing an application for a proposed CVS on the corner of Pascack Road and Washington Avenue during their meeting this week. Previously, board members said they were "insulted" by the testimony of a planner who pointed to the poor condition of the houses currently on the property as a reason to approve the plan. Also, apparently no action has been taken to fix violations on the property cited by the DEP. The Washington Township Planning Board meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the township municipal building. Bibi'z Restaurant will host a wine sampling event with wine expert Barbara Longue at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Westwood Regional Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Westwood Regional High School.
