Dunkin Donuts Hearing, School Professionals Vote This Week
A business owner has proposed to open a new Dunkin Donuts in Washington Township.

A hearing for a new Dunkin Donuts in Washington Township is expected to start this week.
The township Planning Board will hear an application Wednesday for the new shop in the Washington Town Center, just a few storefronts down from a former Dunkin Donuts in the same mall.
The plan calls for a new, multi-colored sign similar to those found at other Dunkin Donuts locations around the area, which is now allowed thanks to a change in the township's sign ordinance approved by the council last year. The old Dunkin Donuts had a blue sign in the same font as most of the other businesses in the mall.

The Pascack Valley Regional Board of Education is scheduled to vote Monday on their final three professional contracts for the next year.
The board will be voting to approve the district's auditor/accountant, attorney and architect during the meeting.
Board members had previously delayed voting on their professional service contracts in order to investigate potentially lower-cost options. The board approved six other professional contracts at their previous meeting.
If the board does approve the additional three proposed contracts, all nine professionals will have previously held contracts with the board.
The Pascack Valley Regional Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Pascack Hills High School cafeteria.
