Rainbow Academy Celebrates Westwood Opening

Rainbow Academy, a new early learning center on Kinderkamack Road in Westwood, recently held a grand opening celebration.

The event featured fun activities for kids and drew hundreds to check out the new business.

“We are overwhelmed with the response from the community and even happier to have so many families us today,” Brenda Febbo, the academy's owner, said.

Febbo and her husband, Anthony, decided to open a Rainbow Academy in Westwood after sending their own children to another location in Rutherford.

Febbo said Rainbow Academy appealed to her because of the center is involved with both children and parents. In addition to the live video, the center's staff regularly update parents on their children's progress. The centers also stay late when parents need them to and there are often family events on weekends, she previously told Patch.

Rainbow Academy has three other Bergen County locations, including Fair Lawn, Mahwah and Rutherford.
