Sober Living Home Hearing, Budget Vote This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.

The Hillsdale Council is scheduled to vote on their 2013 budget during their meeting Tuesday. The Council previously introduced a $12.56 million budget and later amended it to decrease the amount of debt the borough will take on during a public hearing. The Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Municipal Building.
The Westwood Gallery has a new exhibit on display which will be up through April 20. The show includes photographs from Marco Crupi, Chris Dei, and Jonathan Singer.
Blooming Hearts Treasure Shop is holding a clay flower pot painting event at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Hillsdale Planning Board is expected to continue hearing an application for a sober living home on Magnolia Avenue during their meeting Wednesday. Applicant Donna Lally has proposed to use the upper portion of the two-family home to house as many as four "professional" men age 30 or older who have completed rehab programs for alcohol or drug addictions. The Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Municipal Building.
The Westwood Rotary Club will hold their regular meeting at Burke's at 12:15 Thursday.
