St. John's Holding Fall Fest Saturday
St. John's annual fall festival is in Hillsdale this weekend.

St. John's Academy is holding their fourth annual fall festival Saturday.
The event will feature 20 games, including some like "speed baseball" which were made by local parents, according to Rich Agrusti. There will also be inflatable slides, bouncy rides and an obstacle course, a rock wall and pony rides.
"It's fun for the kids," Agrusti said. "You should see the smiles."

Admission to the fall festival is free. Tickets cost $1 each or $25 for a book of 27 tickets. In addition to the rides and games, food and sweets will be available for $1 to $3. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Agrusti said that last year's raffle generated almost $20,000.
Money raised at the fall festival will go to St. John's Parent Teacher Guild, where it will support the school and activities for children.

The festival is open to the public. Agrusti told Patch he hopes people from neighboring towns will also attend the event.
"It's about family," Agrusti said. "We try to do something for the community."
The fall festival will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at St. John's Academy, 460 Hillsdale Avenue in Hillsdale.
