Summer Concerts, Fourth of July This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
The Washington Township Council may introduce ordinances which would create rules for home generators and amend the rules for tree removal this week. The council meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the township municipal complex.
The Hillsdale Library will host "MarioKart" races for library cardholders entering grades seven through 12 and for younger children Monday.
The Hillsdale Library will also host a teen writers club Tuesday at 4 p.m. for students in grades seven through 12.
The Westwood Zoning Board is scheduled to continue hearing applications for an EDT Tire Center on Kinderkamack Road and a dry cleaner/nail salon on Broadway during their meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the borough municipal complex.
Westwood will host banjo group Ragtimers as part of their summer concert series in Veterans' Memorial Park at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Thursday is the Fourth of July. Local government offices will be closed for the holiday.
The Westwood Community Band will perform in Veterans' Memorial Park at 8 p.m. Friday.
