Washington Twp. Family Fun Festival is Saturday
The free annual event starts at 11 a.m. on Memorial Field.
Washington Township will hold their annual Family Fun Festival Saturday.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Memorial Field on Pascack Road.
This year's schedule includes a new science tent with a variety of free educational activities as well as the usual rides, games, crafts, raffles and giveaways from local groups.
There will also be demonstrations by the sheriff's bomb squad, ambulance corps, fire department, local martial arts academies and others.
Local restaurants will be on scene with their dishes, including tacos and chips from Blue Moon Mexican Cafe, ice cream from Dairy Queen, Italian chef specialties rom Italian Touch Deli, chicken wings, burgers and fries from Pop's Burgers, Chinese specialties from Wing Lee, chips and dips from Gyros & Goodies, free popcorn and hot dogs and burgers fresh from the grill.
