Candidates File To Run For School Board In Wyckoff, Ramapo-Indian Hills: See List
Wyckoff residents can choose 2 candidates for their town's school board and pick 1 to represent them on the Ramapo-Indian Hills District.

WYCKOFF, NJ — In some towns, school board elections are dull. Not so in the Wyckoff area.
The Wyckoff school board has jurisdiction over the local district schools. Residents of the town also elect representatives to serve on the board of the Ramapo-Indian Hills School District, which oversees the two high schools that serve kids in Wyckoff, Oakland, and Franklin Lakes.
This year, residents can choose two candidates to serve on the town school board, and one for a seat on the regional Ramapo-Indian Hills board.

Ramapo-Indian Hills Board Has Seen Controversy
The Ramapo-Indian Hills school board has seen a lot of controversy in the past year, after a new board majority took over.
The board recently rescinded a contract for a superintendent they had hired, following several other heated issues.
The board had also overturned some of the previous superintendent's recommendations in Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying cases, and disagreed with him on counseling programs in the schools. READ MORE: Ramapo-Indian Hills Superintendent To Head To Another District
