Superintendent Dr. C. Lauren Schoen told the board Monday the district received 104 resumes, interviewed 15 candidates, then narrowed the search to eight before deciding on Baratta and Anello. The board voted 7 to 1, with one abstention. Board Trustee Sadie Quinlan was the dissenting vote, and stated she opposed the school placements of the directors, but not the director's themselves. Trustee Thomas Bunting abstained from voting.
