Carnival For Kids With Special Needs Planned In Bergen County

OAKLAND, NJ — A carnival aimed at kids with special needs anywhere in the area is planned for this Saturday afternoon. (Later in the evening the rides will open to anyone and will require payment.)

"The entry and rides are free" for kids with special needs, organizers said. "The cost of food is extra. The rides will be at slower speeds, lower light and lower sounds."

it all takes place at the Oakland Municipal recreation complex on Lawlor Drive.

The event will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The age range is for "all ages that enjoy a carnival."
