'Champion Alert': Indian Hills HS Boys Bowling Team Wins County Title
The Braves finished first in the Group 1-2 Division of the Bergen County Tournament, with a total of 3,965 pins across four games.
WYCKOFF, NJ — It was a great day at the lanes for the Indian Hills High School Boys Bowling Team.
On Jan. 21, the high school students out-bowled 18 other teams to become the Group 1-2 Bergen County Champions.
"Congrats to Coach (Mike) Michels and the (Indian Hills) Braves," former Bergen County Girls Bowling Coach of the Year Bill Chesney said on Twitter.

Indian Hills finished first in the tournament, with a total of 3,965 pins across four games.
High individual games were scored by Evan Reid (241), Jake Willis (238), Ryan Clemente (236), senior Capt. Josh Fishman (212), and Joe Brugna (203). Reid placed fourth overall, and Willis placed third, the school's athletic department said.

"Proud of these guys and their coach Mike Michels," Indian Hills science teacher Ashley Murphy said on Twitter.
Opening with a high of 1,084 pins, the five-member team posted subsequent scores of 883, 966, and 1,032.
"LET'S GO HILLS!" the now-Bergen County champions said in announcing the win on Twitter.
